Description

The Jürgen Salamon Foundation continuously supports charitable initiatives and associations in North Rhine-Westphalia and Hamburg, with a special focus on Dorsten. Projects in the areas of sports, health, and culture are funded, primarily benefiting children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. The aim of the funding is to create long-term effective programs that strengthen social cohesion and promote physical activity, creativity, and health awareness. The foundation places emphasis on sustainable impact, co-financing, and proven effectiveness of the projects.

Applications can be submitted at any time, provided they include a project description of no more than three pages. Documents are accepted electronically and reviewed within four weeks. Key evaluation criteria include the viability of the concept, the potential to reach larger target groups, and evidence of already secured supporters. A positive decision results in a grant, which is paid out without deductions for administrative costs and flows directly into project implementation. Interested initiatives, groups, or associations thus have the opportunity to realize and sustainably anchor their activities for disadvantaged children and youth with professional support.
