The Karl Schlecht Foundation (KSG) was established in 1998 by Prof. h.c. Dr. h.c. Dipl.-Ing. Karl Schlecht, entrepreneur and inventor of the first concrete pump, as a non-profit foundation. It supports projects in the fields of Good Leadership, ethical values education, cultural and aesthetic education, entrepreneurship, and regional development. With an annual volume of several million euros, the KSG supports universities, schools, research institutions, and networks both nationally and internationally. Funding areas include, among others, Leadership Education (e.g., Leadership Talent Academy), ethical values education (e.g., Economic Youth Summit), cultural education (e.g., model project Cultural School 2020), entrepreneurship education, as well as regional engagement in Baden-Württemberg and Berlin. The foundation collaborates with universities, ministries, non-profit organizations, and cultural institutions and sees itself as a catalyst for value-oriented action in business, politics, and society.
