Project Funding by the LIFT Foundation

The project funding of the LIFT Foundation supports educational institutions, public institutions, and non-profit organizations in North Rhine-Westphalia, with a focus on Lippe, in strengthening vocational education. The goal is the sustainable improvement of the personnel and material resources of vocational colleges as well as other initial and continuing education institutions. The focus is particularly on projects in the STEM and technology sectors that innovatively shape the transition from school to career. Eligible to apply are organizations with a location in Lippe and a clear focus on vocational education offerings. The grant is provided as an ongoing subsidy without a fixed submission deadline, allowing flexible project planning and rapid response to current needs.

Expenditures for personnel costs, material expenses, and the establishment or expansion of STEM infrastructure, such as student laboratories, experimental workshops, or digital learning environments, are funded. The LIFT Foundation places special emphasis on projects that integrate new technologies into training, such as 3D printing, robotics, and renewable energies. Measures for the qualification of professionals and volunteers are also included to ensure high-quality educational formats in the long term. Since funding decisions are made by an expert advisory board, projects benefit from competent evaluation and efficient allocation of funds. Through the continuous opening of funding opportunities, the individual needs of each institution can be specifically met to strengthen vocational education in Lippe in a forward-looking manner.
