Description
The project funding of the Matthias Kaufmann Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions based and implementing projects in Northern Hesse. Within the thematic areas of road traffic safety, emergency services, social services, as well as child and youth welfare, individual, clearly defined, and not yet commenced projects are supported with grants. Continuous submissions are possible, allowing projects to be applied for in writing at any time. Initiatives that contribute to improving active and passive safety in road traffic or promote the expansion of emergency services, in particular, find a reliable partner here. Measures in the social sector that strengthen young and elderly people in their life situations and contribute to social cohesion are also a focus.
The selection is made based on the urgency and significance of the project within the framework of available funds. Applicants submit a fully completed application form, include a precise project description with objectives, and provide a detailed cost and financing plan. Additionally, a copy of the recognition of non-profit status must be attached. Ongoing operating and maintenance costs are not eligible for funding. There is no formal deadline; however, early application submission is recommended to optimally integrate the allocation of funds into one’s project planning.
