Description

The project funding of the Pflege-Adoptiv-Familien-Stiftung is aimed nationwide at non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public institutions dedicated to child and youth welfare. In particular, innovative initiatives in the areas of full-time foster care, adoption, and child protection are supported. Furthermore, targeted programs for care leavers, associations of foster and adoptive families, as well as scientific research projects are funded. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis, enabling project sponsors to respond promptly and flexibly to needs in the field. The funding is provided in the form of grants and contributes to strengthening existing structures and introducing new impulses in counseling, education, and social work.

Funded projects must demonstrate a charitable purpose and comply with the statutory foundation objectives. Evaluation criteria include the alignment with the funding purpose, the concrete benefit for foster and adoptive children, as well as the innovation and research aspect. Sponsors from child protection and professionals in youth welfare thus receive valuable support for awareness-raising and counseling services, training and further education, as well as networking initiatives. Thanks to the open submission option, any non-profit institution can submit its project idea and thereby contribute to ensuring that all children and young people in foster and adoptive families are accompanied in the best possible way.
