Description

The project funding from the Rainer Markgraf Foundation supports non-profit and public institutions in the regions of Upper Palatinate and Upper Franconia in implementing sustainable initiatives in the fields of education, science & research, as well as infrastructure. The form of funding granted is a one-time subsidy, specifically focused on projects from educational institutions, research organizations, as well as municipal and urban development measures. This funding initiative is expressly aimed at organizations recognized as non-profit and public institutions that wish to implement innovative concepts independently or in cooperation with other partners. The continuous possibility to submit applications creates a flexible scope to respond promptly to current needs in education and infrastructure.

For a successful application, some basic documents are required: a concise summary about the applicant, a meaningful project description, the total amount of requested funds, and a detailed financing plan. Proof of non-profit status in the form of a tax exemption certificate completes the application. Upon completeness of the documents, the foundation’s board decides on the granting of the subsidy. This funding opportunity offers non-profit entities such as public schools, universities, and research institutions the chance to sustainably realize their projects and thereby significantly strengthen the educational and infrastructure landscape in Upper Palatinate and Upper Franconia.
