Project Funding by Rückenwind – Foundation for Children and Youth in Damme

The project funding of the Rückenwind – Foundation for Children and Youth in Damme is aimed at initiatives that promote educational, sports, cultural, and social projects for children and youth in the Lower Saxony region. In particular, young people with a migration background or from disadvantaged families are to be strengthened through creative, preventive, and educational measures. Whether theater groups, sports tournaments, media workshops, or parenting support – fundable projects are linked to the personal development and future opportunities of the participants and contribute to local community development. Non-profit organizations, clubs, interest groups, as well as individuals from the Damme area can apply equally and benefit from flexible grant funding without a fixed submission deadline.

For the application, the completed PDF form is sufficient, which can be submitted upon request by email or directly by post. The prerequisite is that the project clearly targets children and youth and is based or operates in Damme or its surroundings. The funding application is processed via a standardized form available in the foundation’s download area. A formal evaluation is conducted based on the funding criteria, which include educational content, creative and sporting activities, as well as prevention and migration support. Upon approval, funds are disbursed as a grant to implement successful projects promptly and unbureaucratically. In this way, the Rückenwind Foundation sustainably contributes to opening new perspectives for young people locally and promoting civic engagement.
