Description

The StadtStiftung Quakenbrück – Citizens for Their City supports non-profit initiatives based in the Artland collective municipality that enrich the social and cultural life in Quakenbrück and its surroundings. Projects are funded in the areas of youth and family, education and upbringing, as well as art and culture. The focus is on initiatives with model or exemplary character, high voluntary commitment, innovative approaches, and sustainable impact. Eligible expenses include personnel costs, material and consumables, rent, as well as investments in equipment and hardware. Structural measures requiring official approval, projects outside the Artland region, or commercial events are excluded. Double funding is not permitted.

Funding applications can be submitted at any time and are reviewed quarterly by the board and advisory council. Prerequisites include recognition as a non-profit organization, a project that has not yet started, and secured own and third-party funding shares. To apply, the completed and signed application form, the latest tax exemption certificate, a detailed project description, and a cost and financing plan must be submitted. There is no legal entitlement to a grant. After project completion, a proof of use including a factual report and photo documentation must be submitted within two months. The funding is provided as a grant and contributes to sustainably strengthening civic engagement in the region.
