Description
The STARS4KIDS Foundation Professional Footballers Help Children supports nationally recognized projects across Germany that advocate for children and young people in social hotspots and crisis regions. Funding is exclusively provided to non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, and associations whose initiatives correspond to at least one of the four pillars: rapid disaster relief and nutrition programs, education and future prospects, diversity and social engagement, as well as health and care. With ongoing application opportunities, the foundation ensures timely grants to respond immediately to emergencies such as natural disasters, poverty, or medical crises. Emphasis is placed on sustainable impact by supporting projects for school and vocational training as well as programs that improve participation opportunities for minorities and refugee children.
The funding objective is to enable young people, regardless of origin, gender, or religion, to access vital support, educational advancement, and medical care. A prerequisite for funding is formal recognition as a project benefiting children and youth in need and alignment with at least one of the defined funding areas. Non-profit initiatives with clear concepts for disaster relief, nutritional support, educational programs, integration measures, or care facilities may submit applications at any time. Through the continuous awarding of grants, a dynamic network of project partners is created, offering children in need a rapid and sustainable perspective.
