Project Funding by the EDUCATION & ART Foundation

With project funding from the BILDUNG & KUNST Foundation, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, public bodies, and private individuals in the Bavaria region have the opportunity to implement innovative initiatives in the fields of education, training & further education, research & innovation, as well as culture and media. Projects that particularly strengthen intercultural encounters, promote equal opportunities, and pursue a holistic educational approach with a focus on art and culture are supported. Since its founding in 2001 in Schwabach, the Foundation has focused on forward-looking concepts for young learning and scientific as well as artistic engagement in regional contexts. Initiators and project leaders benefit from a continuous call for proposals that equally supports creative and scientific impulses.

Interested stakeholders can submit funding requests at any time via email. A brief project description as well as evidence of the planned activity in the Bavaria region and its relevance in the fields of education and art are required. Approval is granted as a non-repayable grant, with decisions based on the level of innovation, societal added value, and feasibility. Due to flexible deadlines and uncomplicated application procedures, the funding is equally aimed at established institutions and newly founded initiatives. The goal is to sustainably enrich the diversity of Bavarian educational and cultural landscapes and to set long-lasting impactful impulses.
