Project Funding by the Energy Informatics Foundation

The project funding of the Energy Informatics Foundation supports innovatively designed initiatives nationwide related to sustainable energy supply, energy transition, energy industry, energy informatics, and energy technology. As a grant for school excursions, student events, or professional conferences, it enables teachers and their upper secondary students as well as student groups and associations or organizers in the energy sector to realize technically demanding projects. Submissions are accepted continuously, ensuring timely funding decisions and flexible project planning. Through the continuous allocation of funds, the Foundation contributes to sustainably strengthening new impulses for education and research in the fields of climate protection and energy efficiency.

Eligible to apply are educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and private individuals who wish to implement a project idea in one of the mentioned thematic areas. A meaningful project description is required for the application, which must be submitted to the Foundation via email. A prerequisite is that the project has a clear connection to sustainable energy supply, energy transition, or energy informatics. The straightforward handling without fixed deadlines facilitates access to funding for initiatives of all sizes.
