Project Funding by the Jovita Foundation

The project funding of the Jovita Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations, interest groups, educational institutions, and associations as well as companies based in Hamburg that are dedicated to the creative educational support of children and young people. Projects in the areas of culture & media, initial & further education, as well as engagement for social cohesion and democracy are supported. With a special focus on participation and equal opportunities, the foundation supports projects that bring together students regardless of their social, cultural, or religious background. The goal is to provide impulses for personal and communal development through artistic, cultural, and educational offerings and to create sustainable learning spaces. Funding is provided in the form of grants and accompanies initiatives that implement creative ideas in the Hanseatic city, thereby enriching the local educational and cultural landscape.

Applications can be submitted at any time: interested parties complete the standardized questionnaire for project funding and send it to the Jovita Foundation. This ensures uncomplicated access to the funding and enables a swift review of the submitted concepts. The foundation places great importance on the submitted projects following an inclusive approach and having a sustainable impact on the target group. Through ongoing funding opportunities, short-term projects or small pilot projects can also be realized. Apart from the fully completed form, no additional documents are required for the application, allowing initiatives to receive feedback quickly.
