Project Funding of the New States Foundation (SNL)

The project funding of the Stiftung Neue Länder offers companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions in Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia the opportunity to implement innovative labor market policy measures. With continuous funding opportunities as grants, this initiative supports projects that generate employment effects and promote successful placement in the primary labor market. Eligible costs include, among others, personnel costs for project participants, administrative expenses (such as office supplies and travel costs), material costs for operating supplies and technical equipment, as well as other expenses like rent, leasing, and consulting. Applications can be submitted digitally at any time – the application form is available in PDF and Word formats. A prerequisite is activity in the labor market policy sector of the New Länder.

For submission, a detailed project description, a preliminary calculation of personnel costs, a breakdown of material costs, the current exemption certificate for corporate and trade tax, as well as a proof of use are required. After the funding has been granted, applicants document the process, the employment opportunities achieved, and any placement successes in a brief factual report. This transparent accounting ensures optimal use of funds and enables a sustainable impact on the regional labor market.
