Project Funding by the Senfkorn Pankow Foundation

The project funding of the Senfkorn Pankow Foundation is aimed at committed educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and individuals who wish to make their creative, cultural, and social engagement visible in Pankow or the immediate surrounding area. Projects in the fields of education, children and youth, culture and media, inclusion and disability assistance, environmental and nature conservation, as well as vocational training and further education, are supported. A special focus is also placed on interreligious dialogue, which is to be strengthened through innovative film and media projects as well as through practical initiatives for energy efficiency and climate protection. The foundation thus aims to bring together different target groups and promote coexistence between people with and without support needs.

Funding opportunities are available year-round and are granted as non-repayable grants. A prerequisite for a successful application is a non-profit or educational background as well as the project location in Pankow or the nearby surroundings. Interested project sponsors complete the application form available online and submit it to the foundation. Creative circus and theater projects, school film productions, as well as interactive environmental actions have already been realized multiple times, demonstrating the wide range of possible funded projects. The foundation supports initiatives of all sizes, thereby offering the chance to anchor sustainable educational and cultural offerings in the region.
