Description
The project funding of the Sudeten German Foundation is aimed at cultural initiatives, associations, non-profit organizations, as well as individuals throughout Germany who are dedicated to the preservation and transmission of Sudeten German cultural heritage and commemorative culture. As a continuously available grant measure, the Foundation supports projects implemented in compliance with the "General Terms and Conditions for Grants for Project Funding" (ANBest-P). Funded are project-related personnel and material costs, printing and publication expenses, as well as travel costs associated with implementation. Investments in real estate, retroactive expenses, and debt settlements are excluded. A clear connection to Sudeten German cultural heritage and adherence to ANBest-P (BayHO) are prerequisites. In the evaluation, cultural relevance, degree of innovation, as well as the sustainability and viability of the financing concept play a decisive role.
Interested parties may submit a meaningful project description and a detailed cost and financing plan at any time. Upon project completion, a proof of use must be provided. The focus is particularly on initiatives that operate across the German-Czech border and strengthen awareness of the history and tradition of the Sudeten German ethnic group. By combining traditional and innovative approaches, the program promotes long-term impulses in the cultural and media landscape. With this funding, the Sudeten German Foundation offers a reliable basis to realize narrative and artistic projects that contribute to a vibrant culture of remembrance.
