Project Funding (Funding and Applications) – Dr. Jürgen and Irmgard Ulderup Foundation

The Dr. Jürgen and Irmgard Ulderup Foundation continuously supports non-profit initiatives and public-law institutions in the Dümmer region with financial grants. Projects in the fields of technical education as well as nature conservation and landscape management on the foundation’s own moorland areas in the Rehdener Geestmoor are funded. The goal is to create practical learning opportunities for young people that strengthen technical skills while simultaneously ensuring the preservation of natural habitats in Lower Saxony. Applications can be submitted digitally at any time via the foundation’s own funding portal. A detailed cost and financing plan, information on other sponsors, and a final proof of use are among the required documents.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations with a valid tax exemption certificate and public-law entities implementing a project within the specified focus areas and the Dümmer region. Measures outside these thematic fields or geographical boundaries, as well as individual scholarships outside cooperating universities, are not funded. The foundation places great importance on a transparent project description and comprehensible budget planning. Interested applicants should highlight the significance for education or nature conservation in their project outline and clearly justify the planned measures. By providing grants, the foundation makes a sustainable contribution to technical education and the protection of sensitive moor and habitats in the regional environment.
