The project funding of the IMM Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations with residence or project relevance in Mittweida (Saxony). The goal of this funding measure is to set innovative impulses in the fields of science & technology, sports & health, arts & culture, history, and social affairs. Due to the unlimited application possibility, ambitious initiatives can be submitted online at any time. Submitted projects are evaluated based on regional relevance and professional quality to ensure a sustainable impact in the city and surrounding area of Mittweida. The foundation supports ideas that test new interdisciplinary approaches and enrich the local quality of life.

To apply, applicants must submit proof of non-profit status as well as a meaningful project description. A detailed financing plan and the organization's bank details are as essential as the contact information of the responsible person (name, phone number, email). Additionally, optional project documents can be uploaded. The grant is provided as a subsidy without legal entitlement, whereby mentioning the IMM Foundation on all publications is mandatory. A conclusive proof of use with photos and a brief project report must be submitted no later than one month after completion. This transparent documentation process helps the foundation to further disseminate proven models in the regional funding areas.
