Description
The project funding of the Liebelt Foundation in the field of youth welfare and education is aimed nationwide at non-profit organizations, public institutions, and educational providers that support disadvantaged or at-risk children, adolescents, and young adults. With a focus on the northern German region, training, educational, and integration projects as well as initiatives for vocational qualification are supported. The goal is the (re-)integration of young people into the social fabric by strengthening creativity and self-confidence as well as creating new opportunities for action. The foundation thus seeks to balance social inequality and contributes to equal opportunities and solidarity.
Only legal applicants with proven non-profit status and projects in the field of youth welfare or education are eligible for funding. Evaluation is based on the alignment with the funding objectives and the contribution to integration. By the deadlines of March 15 (for the May session) or September 15 (for the November session), a completed and signed application form, a concise project description (max. 3 pages), a tabular cost and financing plan, and proof of non-profit status must be submitted. For scholarship-like projects, an additional statement from a professor is required. The foundation grants subsidies based on the resolutions of the foundation board and expects, in case of success, a factual report on the use of funds as well as a brief report on the project progress.
