Description
The youth welfare and education project funding of the Liebelt Foundation supports non-profit initiatives throughout Germany, with a focus on the northern German region, that accompany disadvantaged children, adolescents, and young adults in their personal and professional development. Sponsors from the non-profit sector, educational institutions, public institutions, and interest groups may submit applications at any time. Training, educational, and integration projects in schools, clubs, and continuing education institutions are funded, aiming to create equal opportunities, counteract social exclusion, and strengthen creative potentials. The goal is the integration and reintegration of socially disadvantaged and at-risk young people through appropriate support measures and qualification offers.
To apply, a completed and signed application form, a project description (max. three pages), and a detailed cost and financing plan must be submitted. For scholarships, proof of financial situation is additionally required; final scholarships require a statement from a professor. Decisions on funding applications are regularly made in May (deadline March 15) and November (deadline September 15). Funding prerequisites include the non-profit status of the applying institution as well as activity in the field of youth welfare or education. After successful funding, a factual report on the project progress and a proof of use are required to document compliance with the funding purpose. The Liebelt Foundation supports initiatives sustainably and long-term that promote young people and enable them to discover new perspectives.
