Description

The project funding of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Bavaria in cooperation with the Kurt Eisner Association is aimed at non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, as well as public and educational institutions in Bavaria. Funded are cooperative projects in political education work that strengthen social cohesion and illuminate democratic processes. Applications can be submitted continuously but must be received at least two weeks before one of the four to five board meetings per year (next deadline: 26.01.2026). Eligible expenses include fees for speakers, travel and accommodation costs, printing and material costs, as well as event and publication expenses. Typical grant amounts range between €100 and €750.

The funding objective is to enable political groups, organizations, and institutions in Bavaria to involve the Kurt Eisner Association early on in the planning and implementation of their educational formats. Through participation in content and methodological design as well as the contribution of expertise and contacts, a fruitful collaboration is created. To apply, the cooperation guidelines, project application, attendance list, as well as activity report and additional documents such as fee agreements and travel expense forms must be submitted. Applications are evaluated based on their suitability for political education, alignment with the KEV’s focal points, complementarity to existing association activities, and early involvement. Interested actors thus secure reliable funding for innovative, participatory political education projects in Bavaria.
