Project Funding (Cultural Office for Silesia) – Silesian Museum in Görlitz

The Cultural Office for Silesia at the Silesian Museum in Görlitz continuously supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and committed private individuals in Saxony with grants for projects in cultural outreach. Funded are initiatives that convey historical and regional knowledge about Silesia through encounters, events, and public relations. A special focus lies on cross-border cooperation with partners in Poland and the Czech Republic. Grants cover travel expenses and material costs, thereby enabling, for example, workshops, exhibitions, or multi-day cultural trips. Additionally, the regulations of the Federal Travel Expenses Act apply. A funding agreement governs the disbursement, and the use of funds must be documented by a proof of use. The objective and fact-based funding offers all interested parties from the cultural sector the opportunity to make the cultural heritage of Silesia permanently tangible both domestically and abroad and to strengthen cross-border networks.
