Project Funding/Partnerships in Germany (Youth) – Hanns R. Neumann Foundation

The Hanns R. Neumann Foundation supports non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, as well as public and private educational institutions in Northern Germany through its program "Project Funding/Partnerships in Germany (Youth)." Projects are funded in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania that empower socially disadvantaged youth with and without a migration background in key areas of development. The focus is on language promotion, the development of social and emotional skills, vocational qualification, as well as the promotion of integration and social participation. The foundation pursues a holistic approach to build long-term effective partnerships that open sustainable prospects for young people and strengthen local networks.

Funded are initiatives whose headquarters or area of operation are located in one of the three northern federal states and that explicitly target disadvantaged youth. Applications for funding can be submitted at any time and are handled simply via email. As a grant provider, the Hanns R. Neumann Foundation assumes financial responsibility and supports the projects through professional and experiential exchange with regional partners. The program is equally aimed at initiatives that impart basic skills as well as organizations that support transitions into vocational training and the labor market. Through this continuous support, the foundation contributes to improving participation opportunities and opening new development possibilities for young people in difficult life situations.
