Project Funding Social / Social Art (Ernst Wilken Foundation)

The Ernst Wilken Foundation supports non-profit organizations and public institutions in Baden-Württemberg in implementing individual social initiatives in the Freiburg and Ulm regions. The focus of the funding is on “Social Art” in the sense of Rudolf Steiner, which aims to sustainably strengthen social relationships and advance societal development. Ongoing application opportunities allow for flexible planning and realistic timeframes, with the foundation’s management considering a processing period of up to four months. The grant is provided as a direct subsidy and is intended to highlight innovative approaches in the social field as well as promote networks among the involved actors.

Eligible for funding are exclusively organizations based in the aforementioned regions that demonstrably serve the common good and implement the principles of Social Art in their project. A prerequisite for submitting an application is the use of the official PDF form of the Ernst Wilken Foundation, which requests all essential information regarding the project description, objectives, and financial planning. Submissions are possible at any time and are evaluated after formal review with regard to impact, sustainability, and regional anchoring. The funding is particularly aimed at projects that strengthen the participation of disadvantaged people and provide cultural impulses for social cohesion.
