Submit project idea (ZukunftSpenden Foundation)

The ZukunftSpenden Foundation supports nationwide, especially in Saxony, non-profit initiatives, associations, educational institutions, interest groups, and public bodies that aim to advance innovative project ideas in the fields of climate and environmental protection, nature conservation, education for sustainable development, children and youth education, as well as development cooperation. Eligible for funding are exclusively organizations based in Germany that are familiar with the Foundation’s funding guidelines and submit a project idea via the online form. Submissions are possible at any time. After a positive initial review, the Foundation invites applicants to submit a full application. Financial support in the form of a grant can be requested to implement sustainable initiatives aimed at conserving natural resources, promoting environmental education, and strengthening rural development processes.

The evaluation of project ideas is based on their alignment with ZukunftSpenden’s objectives, consideration of sustainability aspects, and focus on environmental education as well as children and youth promotion. Applications must include a concise title and a brief description of the idea, information on duration and requested funding amount, details on the name, legal form, and location of the organization, as well as a consent declaration for data processing. The goal is to support pioneering, ecologically and socially impactful projects that contribute in the long term to climate protection, energy efficiency, and social justice. Through this program, the Foundation is committed to creating green future prospects and imparting young people with the skills to act for the preservation of our habitats.
