Doctoral Scholarships of the Gustav Schickedanz Foundation

The Gustav Schickedanz Foundation supports doctoral candidates nationwide in the Department of Economics and Social Sciences at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg with monthly doctoral scholarships. The focus is on dissertations addressing the fields of services, trade, or the internationalization of the economy. Through financial support in the form of a grant, doctoral candidates are given the opportunity to advance their research projects purposefully and to network professionally. Formal enrollment at FAU as well as a thematic connection to the aforementioned focus areas are prerequisites for a successful application. Since applications can be submitted at any time without fixed deadlines, the foundation offers a flexible funding structure that adapts to the individual progress of the doctoral projects.
