The Dr. Fritz Reimnitz Foundation supports ambitious early-career researchers with a monthly doctoral scholarship of €1,000 to secure their livelihood. Eligible applicants are individuals with an above-average university degree and primary residence in Bräunlingen or Löffingen at the time of commencing their doctoral project. Subject to available funds, the award may also be granted to applicants from the districts of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Schwarzwald-Baar. The scholarship is initially granted for 12 months and can be extended by an additional year upon submission of a performance report and confirmation of supervision. Regular reporting on progress and proof of social or voluntary engagement are integral parts of the funding.

Required documents include a motivation letter, an exposé of the doctoral project, a tabular CV, copies of degree certificates, and a supervision commitment from a professor.
