Qualification and Employment of Young People (QuB)

The funding program “Qualification and Employment of Young People (QuB)” of the state of Hesse supports companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions in implementing targeted measures for the training and labor market integration of young people. Projects from the fields of work, vocational training & further education, as well as social affairs, are funded, offering adolescents and young adults in Hesse practical qualification opportunities. As part of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), QuB provides financial grants to realize innovative learning formats, career orientation programs, and company-based training models. Through the continuous funding call, applications can be submitted at any time and approved promptly, allowing funding to be used flexibly and according to needs.

The Economic and Infrastructural Bank of Hesse (WIBank) acts as an intermediary and supports the application process, approval, and accounting of QuB projects. In addition to administrative processing, it also provides professional advice and monitors the proper use of funds. The program’s goal is to sustainably increase the employability of young people, reduce training dropouts, and facilitate transitions into the primary labor market. By combining theoretical learning content, practical experience within companies, and individual support, new perspectives are opened and skilled labor shortages in Hesse are reduced.
