Description

The Qualification Offensive Construction supports companies and employees in the construction and related trades in Styria, as well as short-term unemployed persons with a re-employment guarantee, in expanding their professional skills during the winter months when demand is low. With a funding rate of 50% of the course costs and a maximum grant amount of €10,000, all training and further education measures from the official course programs of bfi Styria and the Construction Academy Styria are supported. Only course fees are eligible for funding; examination, travel, accommodation, and personnel costs are excluded. A prerequisite for application is a business location in Styria, submission before the course start, and a minimum own contribution of 25% of the project volume. Applications can be submitted via the online portal of the Styrian Business Promotion Agency SFG until no later than 31.12.2025.

After positive funding approval, applicants receive an agreement for signature and subsequently submit the billing documents with proof of course program, application form, and De-minimis declaration via the portal. Once all funding requirements are met, the SFG transfers the grant directly to the registered company bank account. This initiative secures sustainable jobs and regional business locations in Styria – as investments in education and training lay the foundation for the innovation capability and competitiveness of the regional construction industry.
