REGIO ACTIVE – STABLE

In Saxony-Anhalt, the grant program REGIO AKTIV – STABIL is aimed at non-profit educational providers committed to preventing social exclusion of young adults. Funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), projects are supported that secure the educational and employability skills of disadvantaged youth under 27 years of age and promote their professional as well as social reintegration. The funding priorities cover the areas of work, vocational training and further education, as well as social participation, enabling tailored, regional implementation. With a project duration of 36 months, the program offers continuous funding opportunities during the period 2021–2027, in which participants gain practical experience in at least three different workshop or production areas.

Funding is granted exclusively to non-profit organizations established as educational providers or recognized providers of independent youth welfare services in Saxony-Anhalt, possessing at least three different specialist departments. A registered office or branch within the funding area and the waiver of cooperation agreements with other providers are prerequisites. The offers must permanently provide at least ten participant places and meet the general conditions of the REGIO AKTIV guideline. Applications are to be submitted continuously via the Regional Working Groups, which select projects in a two-stage process and invite them to apply to the State Administration Office Saxony-Anhalt, Dessau branch. Approval is granted as a non-repayable grant by the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Equality of the State of Saxony-Anhalt.
