Description
The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg supports municipalities in Baden-Württemberg with the program "Regional Transition Management (RÜM)" in coordinating regional activities in the area of school-to-work transition. Within the scope of the topic area Vocational Education & Training, municipal public-law entities receive a subsidy of up to 70% of eligible personnel expenses. A maximum of €42,000 can be applied for per project management and up to €35,000 per project assistance for the funding period of twelve months. Additionally, up to €5,000 is available for material expenses. The goal is to establish a regional steering committee in which all relevant stakeholders jointly design an integrated process to secure skilled labor.
For approval, a committee resolution by the school authority to introduce the AVdual educational pathway at at least one vocational school, as well as a council resolution by the city or district to adopt the RÜM, are required. Furthermore, a coherent overall concept for regional implementation, qualification certificates of the personnel employed, and a detailed cost and financing plan for the school years 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 must be submitted. The informal application must be submitted at least six weeks before the start of the measure. The ongoing funding opportunity enables long-term and tailored management of school and vocational offerings in model regions along the statewide reform concept.
