Funding objective
The funding of measures or programs by ecoplus or its companies, as well as other organizations of the Lower Austrian Economic Department, supports regional (development) projects that contribute to the implementation of the Lower Austrian economic and tourism strategy as well as the digitalization strategy. This aims to strengthen and sustainably develop the economic and tourism location for the future.

Description
Within the framework of the regional funding program of the State of Lower Austria, a non-repayable grant supports investments in infrastructure, digitalization, corporate financing, consulting, regional development, as well as in agriculture and rural development. Funded are regional development and tourism projects as well as digitalization measures that contribute to the implementation of Lower Austria’s economic, tourism, and digitalization strategy. Eligible applicants are ecoplus and its companies, as well as other organizations within the Lower Austrian economic department and their network partners. The programs contribute to increasing regional value creation, strengthening the economic and tourism location in the long term, and securing jobs. Eligible to apply are small, medium, and large enterprises as well as public institutions located in Lower Austria.
Funded are personnel and material costs, external services, overhead costs, as well as other costs and lump sums, provided these are stipulated in the funding agreement. Excluded are invoices not issued to the applicants, payments from third parties, input tax deductible VAT, reimbursed amounts, and cash payments exceeding €5,000. Selection is based on the criteria of regional economic dimension, strategic fit, and sustainability dimension. A prerequisite is that each measure serves the Lower Austrian economic, tourism, and digitalization strategy. Applications are possible from 01.08.2024 to 31.12.2025, with project start no earlier than 01.08.2024. Submission must include: application, project-specific description according to the guidelines with attachments, total cost statement, annual financial statements or balance sheets of the last two fiscal years, as well as evidence of other funding applications including clearance letters.
