Description
With the ReVital Lower Austria funding, the state of Lower Austria promotes the establishment of a statewide ReUse initiative by specifically expanding collection, processing, and distribution sites. The measure grants a non-repayable subsidy amounting to 40% to 75% of the net investment costs and supports planning costs, construction measures, shop, office, and workshop equipment, training, software optimization, storage containers, electric transport vehicles, as well as ReVital promotional materials. The goal is to permanently increase the quantities of reusable items, strengthen regional reuse structures, and sustainably raise the sales figures of ReUse goods. The funding guideline comes into effect on 05.05.2025 and applies until revoked, with applications required to be submitted prior to project commencement.
Funding is provided to non-profit associations, institutions, as well as social-economic enterprises or organizations founded by them, which operate collection, processing, or distribution sites as ReVital licensees of the Lower Austria Environmental Associations. Prerequisites include a positively evaluated concept draft by the Lower Austria Environmental Associations, a signed trademark license agreement, a minimum operating period of five years, barrier-free access to sales premises, no concurrent funding from another state agency, and all necessary official permits in accordance with AWG 2002. For the application, among other documents, the completed application form, the statement from the Environmental Associations, license agreement, proof of permits, as well as invoices and payment confirmations after project completion must be submitted. With this funding, regional actors benefit from high-quality investment incentives and contribute to the sustainable reduction of waste and the strengthening of the circular economy in Lower Austria.
