Guideline for Vocational Education – Intercompany Training in Agriculture, Forestry, and Domestic Management

The guideline Vocational Education – Intercompany Training in Agriculture, Forestry, and Home Economics supports practice-oriented qualification measures in the Free State of Saxony. Educational institutions, companies, and public sponsors receive subsidies for intercompany training courses in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and home economics. The aim is to sustainably strengthen the training infrastructure and optimally prepare trainees for the challenges in the green sector. By supporting training centers, contemporary, practical, and vocational education is promoted, linking regional development and skilled labor advancement.

In particular, trainees and training providers benefit from this funding: participation fees and course costs can be partially or fully covered. Since applications can be submitted continuously, the guideline allows for flexible and ongoing planning of practical training phases. The funding is granted as a non-repayable subsidy by the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport (SMWA) in cooperation with the Saxon Development Bank – Förderbank – (SAB) as the operational partner. Interested institutions receive tailored financial support to expand and enhance the quality of training offerings. Through this funding measure, training in agriculture, forestry, and home economics is sustainably strengthened and makes an important contribution to securing qualified skilled workers in Saxony.
