Guideline for Young Housing

The "Young Housing" guideline of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Affairs of Saxony-Anhalt specifically supports the development and modernization of housing for students and trainees within social housing in Saxony-Anhalt. Eligible to apply are public institutions, non-profit organizations, and companies that aim to create new housing options or renovate existing accommodations at a location in Saxony-Anhalt. The goal is to offer young people in training and study attractive, affordable housing options and thereby sustainably strengthen Saxony-Anhalt as a location for education and employment. The funding is provided as a one-time grant and can be continuously applied for at the Investment Bank of Saxony-Anhalt.

Eligible costs include construction expenses as well as costs for planning, modernization, and renovation. A prerequisite for a positive funding decision is a convincing operator concept or proof of sponsorship for student or training-specific housing. For the application, a fully completed application form, a detailed project description, and a cost and financing plan must be submitted. The continuous funding opportunity enables flexible planning and implementation of construction measures that sustainably contribute to the creation of affordable housing. The Investment Bank of Saxony-Anhalt supports applicants throughout all steps of the application process and continuously provides the necessary documents.
