The SAB Funding Portal is the central digital gateway of the Saxon Development Bank (SAB) for all funding applications in Saxony. Companies, start-ups, non-profit organizations, public institutions, and private individuals are provided with a user-friendly platform for registration, login, and submission of their funding projects. The platform consolidates funding areas such as digitalization, consulting, and business financing and offers an extensive help section with FAQs, guides, and step-by-step instructions on electronic identification, digital signatures, and application submission. The goal is to map the entire funding process from application to communication with the SAB seamlessly and transparently.

Participation in the SAB Funding Portal requires a one-time registration and the creation of a personal user account. After setting up a username and password, applicants can submit funding applications around the clock and continuously, handle tasks such as interim reports, or digitally submit additional documents. Thanks to the availability of various identification methods (e.g., Verimi Video-Ident, Bank-Ident, eID) and the free qualified electronic signature, legally binding application submission is enabled directly online. Central management of all projects on one platform improves tracking of deadlines and communications, while the integrated support area provides assistance from experts.
