Material and personnel expenses of the agricultural and forestry apprenticeship and vocational training center

The funding measure in Vienna contributes to securing the annual material and personnel expenses of the agricultural and forestry apprenticeship and specialist training center of the Vienna Chamber of Agriculture. Public institutions can benefit from an ongoing subsidy as providers of training and further education offers in the fields of agriculture & rural development as well as education. The goal is the full coverage of the incurred costs for teaching materials, instructional aids, technical equipment, as well as fee-based and fixed personnel costs. Applications are accepted throughout the year, with funding available without time limitation since 01.01.2014. A prerequisite is the implementation of the training tasks assigned according to the Vienna agricultural and forestry vocational training regulations.

The allocation is based on proof of eligible expenses in the categories of material expenses and personnel expenses. Through continuous financing, the training center remains capable of educating qualified specialists for agriculture and forestry, thereby sustainably strengthening the rural area in the region. Administration and processing are handled by the City of Vienna – Water Law (MA 58). This structure enables a reliable planning basis for the apprenticeship and specialist training center and guarantees the continuity of practice-oriented vocational training in Vienna.
