In-Kind Benefits for Student BAföG of the Hansenberg Alumni Foundation

The Hansenberg Alumni Foundation supports students of the Hansenberg Boarding School who receive student BAföG with targeted in-kind benefits. Depending on the individual need, expenses for book fees, music lessons, class trips, as well as theater and concert visits are covered. As a supplement to the state BAföG program, the foundation thus promotes cultural and private educational participation and contributes to financial relief in special learning situations. Students benefit from an uncomplicated process, as each application can be submitted informally by email and is reviewed promptly. There is no entitlement to funding; however, the individual assessment ensures a tailored, needs-based allocation.

Interested students only need to prove receipt of student BAföG and affiliation with the Hansenberg Boarding School. Once these requirements are met, the grant covers the requested costs fully or partially. The funding is continuously available and can be accessed as needed on an ongoing basis. The Hansenberg Alumni Foundation deliberately forgoes long waiting periods or complex selection procedures to enable quick and flexible relief.
