Student Grants

The needs-based student allowance in Vienna supports learners from the 9th grade (boarding allowance) or from the 10th grade (school allowance) at general and vocational schools who require financial assistance for school and boarding costs. As an ongoing grant program, both regular and special school allowances are granted to reduce social inequalities in education and promote equal opportunities. The budget is unlimited, so all eligible applicants can receive benefits upon proven need.
