Student Scholarship – Funding by the Hohenschönhausen-Lichtenberg Economic Circle Foundation

The student scholarship of the Wirtschaftskreis Hohenschönhausen-Lichtenberg Foundation supports committed pupils residing in the Berlin district of Lichtenberg who require financial resources for school-related and extracurricular projects. Designed as partial grants, the funding is aimed at individuals with student status who wish to contribute to local child and youth development through creative educational, artistic, or social initiatives. Applications are accepted twice a year: by April 30 and October 31 of the current year. The form "Application for Funding," available in the "Downloads" section of the foundation's website, must be used for submission.

The allocation of funds takes place after thorough review by the advisory board and resolution by the executive board, which decides on the grants within one month after the application deadlines. The purpose of funding, duration, and requested amount must be specified in the application; upon project completion, a brief report on the use of funds is required. The scholarship aims to provide space for youth initiatives and sustainably support innovative project proposals. Through transparent selection and needs-based allocation, the foundation significantly contributes to strengthening the educational and social landscape in the Lichtenberg district and promotes the development of young talents.
