Cross-School-Type Support Programs

The cross-school-type funding programs of the state of Baden-Württemberg offer comprehensive support for a wide range of educational and exchange initiatives. As continuously available grant opportunities, these programs are aimed at schools and school-related institutions of all types in Baden-Württemberg. The goal is to support international partnerships, targeted exam preparations, and integrative encounter measures that promote knowledge transfer and intercultural understanding. Both talent development initiatives as well as reading promotion projects and cross-border cooperations are in focus.

Eligible for funding are educational institutions based or operating in Baden-Württemberg; teachers as well as students can actively participate within the framework of the projects. The programs support, for example, external school examinations, international school partnerships, and memorial site visits through financial grants. Since applications can be submitted throughout the year, a flexible project start without fixed deadlines is possible. Interested institutions receive all necessary information directly from the Freiburg Regional Council to effectively implement their educational projects and sustainably strengthen school exchanges.
