Description

The Frank Hirschvogel Foundation provides nationwide financial grants to school classes and public educational institutions for the implementation of innovative learning projects in STEM subjects, environmental and climate protection, new technologies and propulsion systems, as well as for strengthening social skills. Funding is provided for activities such as excursions to research laboratories, practice-oriented seminars and workshops, prevention measures against bullying or drug abuse, and early musical education including the leasing of musical instruments. Covered costs include travel and accommodation expenses as well as fees for experts and material procurement. The foundation supports projects for all age groups and enables flexibly designed educational offerings – from scientific research weeks and communication seminars to holiday programs with a nature education focus.

Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis, with each application submitted through the respective school as the official applicant. A detailed project description including a budget plan, developed jointly with the school class, is required. Selection is made through a thorough review of all documents to ensure that the funded projects provide sustainable learning benefits and open new perspectives for participants. Interested educational institutions thus gain uncomplicated access to financial resources that enable students to realize their own ideas, expand their academic and social potential, and prepare for responsibility and teamwork.
