Description

The Kinder-Akademie Fulda offers a fee-based educational program in Hesse specifically aimed at primary school classes in grades 1 to 4. Within 90 to 120 minutes, participants experience an interactive journey through the universe: through stories, images, audio elements, and exhibits such as meteorites or model rovers, stars, the moon, and galaxies are vividly conveyed. An imaginative narrative featuring the alien Skrk challenges the class with knowledge-promoting questions to encourage active thinking and deliberately engages various senses. Afterwards, the children independently create a star projector, thereby strengthening manual skills and deepening understanding of physical concepts such as electrical circuits and LEDs. Continuation of the program by arrangement allows for flexible scheduling.

Eligible for funding are educational institutions in Hesse that provide written confirmation of their class size and arrange an appointment. A flat fee of €225 applies for up to 25 children, with each additional child charged €4. The offer not only fosters scientific interest but also promotes motor skills and teamwork. Through the combination of expert knowledge transfer and a creative, hands-on project, a holistic learning environment is created that sustainably inspires primary school classes in astronomy and technical contexts.
