School Projects (Resourceful and Strong)

The Erlangen Community Foundation continuously supports school projects at Erlangen primary and middle schools through its "Resourceful and Strong" program. Public institutions and non-profit organizations can apply for a grant to implement creative initiatives in areas such as performing arts, music, environmental education, technology, language support, as well as health and sports projects. The focus is on diverse offerings like the Erlangen Climate License, experimental sessions in "Magical Physics," or theater and dance performances within the framework of the Bühnenfuxx initiative. The goal is to assist educators in conveying knowledge vividly while simultaneously sustainably strengthening the self-esteem and social skills of the participating children and adolescents.

The funding is primarily aimed at primary school students and middle school classes as well as their teachers who wish to offer interactive, project-based learning formats. Applications can be submitted at any time, provided that a specific project is carried out at an Erlangen school with an emphasis on knowledge transfer and social development. The initiative supports not only school education with the proceeds from endowments and donations but also makes a valuable contribution to social cohesion and the sustainable strengthening of the next generation.
