Seminar "Nature and Wilderness in the Saxon Switzerland National Park"

The German Police Officers Foundation Bremen supports the professional development and health prevention of its employees with a practice-oriented seminar. In cooperation with the Adult Education Center, the event takes place in the historic foundation house Finkenbaude Schmilka in Saxon Switzerland. Participants explore natural habitats on guided excursions and learn nature-educational methods to reduce stress and strengthen resilience. The participation fee includes all professional educational services, accommodation in double rooms with private bathroom/WC, as well as full catering. Recognized as educational leave, the offer is exclusively aimed at employees of the Bremen Police who are physically fit and enjoy nature-based seminar formats.

Seminar places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis; travel cost subsidies cannot be granted. Start dates are available from April 26, 2026; further sessions will follow in June and October. Interested parties may register online continuously until the maximum number of participants is reached. The program not only promotes professional competencies in environmental and nature conservation but also strengthens team spirit and individual well-being. With this initiative, the foundation contributes to climate-friendly continuing education and sustainable health promotion within the Bremen Police.
