Description

The seminar “We Run Away from Stress …” (Part 2) invites employees of the Bremen Police to an advanced in-depth seminar at the Stiftungshaus Finkenbaude Schmilka in the picturesque Saxon Switzerland. In cooperation with the Bremen Police Chaplaincy and the Educational Institute of the Protestant Church, practical methods for stress management are taught, which were already tested in Part 1 “Stress, Go Away …”. Recognized as educational leave, the program includes professional pedagogical offerings as well as accommodation in modern, well-equipped twin rooms with private bathroom/WC and catering. The grant covers all eligible expenses – from the seminar fee to catering – thereby strengthening the participants’ health prevention. The number of participants is limited for reasons of individual support.

The seminar is funded by the Stiftung Deutscher Polizeibeamter Bremen with the aim of promoting resilience and sustainably anchoring preventive health strategies. Eligible for funding are private individuals in the sense of police employees who work for the Bremen Police and have successfully completed the first seminar part. Applications can be submitted from June 21 to June 26, 2026; the seminar start is possible directly on June 21, 2026. The application must include the completed registration form and proof of employment. Interested parties receive comprehensive support in stress management and benefit from a fully funded educational offer in an inspiring environment.
