Description
The Heinrich Böll Foundation Baden-Württemberg funds one-day seminars that are designed according to individual needs and take place at various locations within Baden-Württemberg. Private individuals, non-profit organizations, associations, interest groups, public institutions, as well as companies from the region have the opportunity to jointly implement political education and qualification events with the Foundation. The funding rate is 100%, covering all recognized expenses – including fees for speakers, travel costs, catering expenses, room rental, and technical equipment. A key selection criterion is the order of registration, which ensures a particularly high degree of flexibility in the application process: inquiries can be made at any time, and there is no fixed deadline. Cooperations with party branches of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen are excluded to guarantee the non-partisan orientation.
Seminars usually last one day (up to two days for special modules) and can include components from the fields of training & further education, counseling, education, engagement for social cohesion/democracy, as well as labor & social affairs. To apply, a completed order form or seminar inquiry and a signed cooperation agreement are required. The Foundation assumes all organizational and financial aspects of implementation, while the cooperation partners on site ensure the provision of space, technical equipment, and catering. This model offers an effective way to implement local education and qualification projects and to promote political discussions in a participatory manner.
