Description
The 32nd Summer Academy of the Kinder-Akademie Fulda is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 and playfully imparts democratic values in the heart of Hesse. In age-appropriate, creative workshops, participants discover how co-determination, fairness, respect, and responsibility shape everyday life. Under the guidance of experienced educators and artists, diverse formats invite experimentation, creation, and discussion. Whether in theater projects, artistic expressions, or exploratory activities – personal ideas are always at the center. In the process, the young explorers learn to listen, find compromises, and make collective decisions. Each session concludes with a presentation where results and personal impressions are shared. In this way, a vibrant space is created in which togetherness is experienced as an enrichment.
The events take place from June 29 to August 7, 2026, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Kinder-Akademie Fulda; a comprehensive service including lunch is provided. A flat fee of €150 is charged per workshop. Additional supervision times can be booked for an extra charge. Participation requires online registration via the booking portal by the respective course start or until the minimum number of participants is reached. The commitment of the non-profit GmbH aims to offer young people varied holiday programs and sustainably strengthen democratic skills.
