Special Funding Program for Planning Association 12 "Pitztal"

The special funding program for Planning Association 12 "Pitztal" supports sustainable measures with a total volume of €10 million that strengthen the economic dynamism and quality of life in Arzl im Pitztal, Jerzens, St. Leonhard im Pitztal, and Wenns. Private households, businesses, cooperatives, associations, and public institutions are invited to submit applications, provided that the planned projects are not already covered by state, federal, or EU programs. The focus is on destination development – from experience and leisure infrastructure to brand integration – as well as enhancing the competitiveness and innovation capacity of tourism enterprises and the expansion of small and medium-sized non-tourism businesses. The portfolio is complemented by initiatives to enhance the living environment, digital infrastructure projects under the motto "Digital Region Pitztal," as well as program-compliant individual measures.

Project applications can be submitted from March 1, 2024, until June 30, 2027, provided the project began on or after January 1, 2018, and the applicant is resident in the funding area. The decision-making basis consists of the action fields of the Regional Economic Program Pitztal as well as the guidelines of the special funding program. For submission, the general application form, a separate form for private landlords, and a confirmation from the municipality regarding the scope of the rental are required. With this funding, the State of Tyrol specifically supports those projects that contribute and add value to regional development and create a sustainable long-term perspective for the population.
