Special Fund for Culture and Sports Celle of the Endowment Community of Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg

Special Fund for Culture and Sports Celle focuses on non-profit sports clubs and cultural institutions in the Celle region (Lower Saxony). The program aims to sustainably strengthen local projects in the fields of culture and sports and thereby promote cultural as well as sporting engagement on site. Eligible to apply are boards of non-profit sports clubs as well as management of cultural institutions with headquarters and project relevance in the region. Submissions are made by e-mail including a completed funding application (PDF) and a current tax exemption certificate. A coherent cost and financing plan is required, showing own contributions and naming applications already submitted to other funding bodies. The funding criteria place particular emphasis on the sustainable impact in Celle, the plausibility of the financing plan, and the demonstrated added value of the requested measures.

The allocation of grants is carried out in stages by a funding committee, which reviews the applications received after the submission deadline (cf. funding guidelines) and issues recommendations. A positive vote is then submitted to the foundation board for decision. In addition to compliance with the funding priorities, the proposed own contribution and the completeness of the documents are also evaluated. For an application, in addition to the funding application (PDF) and the tax exemption certificate, the funding guidelines (PDF) as a guide and proof of eligibility for funding must be submitted. Through this structured process, the Special Fund ensures a transparent selection and targeted support of cultural and sporting projects in the Celle region.
