Description
The special apprenticeship program of the City of Vienna specifically supports preparatory courses for the final apprenticeship examination and covers 100% of the market-standard course costs. The aim is to enable participants to receive comprehensive and focused exam preparation so that they can pass the final apprenticeship examination in the best possible way. The Vienna Employees’ Promotion Fund (waff) directly pre-finances the courses with the training institutions. The program runs from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2026 and is aimed at private individuals with their main residence in Vienna who are in the final phase of their apprenticeship or have completed the examination up to 36 months ago.
All course costs are fully funded provided the following conditions are met: main residence in Vienna, participation in qualification management, apprenticeship completion within the next 12 months or up to a maximum of 36 months prior. The application must be submitted to waff no later than the course end date. Required documents include proof of main residence registration, the invoice from the course provider (issued to the applicant), and a certificate of attendance. By covering the full costs, apprentices can fully concentrate their energy on professional preparation without financial barriers. Interested parties can find all details regarding deadlines and funding modalities through the publications on the Transparency Portal to ensure timely and complete application submission.
